Eligibility

You are eligible for medication abortion if:

• you are 16 years of age or older

• you know the date of your last menstrual period (within one week)

• you will be able to start your medication abortion within 84 days from the start of your last period

• you've had NO recent vaginal bleeding or severe pelvic pain

• you answer "NO" to all of the following contraindications:

  Do any of the following apply to you?

  • Hemorrhagic disorder or currently taking blood thinning medications

  • Chronic adrenal failure

  • Current, long-term systemic corticosteroid medication use

  • Inherited porphyria

  • Current severe anemia

  • Allergy to mifepristone, misoprostol, or other prostaglandin medication

Pricing

We use a sliding scale pricing model. The scale ranges from $100 - $580, based on your individual socio-economic circumstances.

We believe in creating access by fostering community and solidarity. When selecting a payment tier, we ask each person to reflect honestly on their economic and social position. You'll have a chance to learn more about the sliding scale and indicate the payment tier that best fits your situation when filling out the intake form.

We Take Care of Us provides abortion pills in advance, so you can feel more prepared and in control in case of an unplanned pregnancy. A midwife will be available to accompany you if you decide to use your pills in the future.

The process for Advanced Provision is very similar to the medication abortion care we provide pregnant people (details above). You’ll fill out a short intake form, which will confirm your medical eligibility to take abortion pills in the future. You’ll also have a chance to select a pricing tier on our sliding scale, which includes care and support by our clinicians if you decide to use your pills in the future. Once we receive your intake request, we’ll be in touch within 24-48 hours.

Emergency Contraception (EC) can be used to prevent pregnancy within the first 5 days after unprotected penis-in-vagina sex. We can order EC if you’ve had unprotected sex in the last 72 hours, or just want to have EC available for future use.

Sliding scale: $10-$60 consult fee, plus the cost of your medication.
